Pashinyan Intends to Demand Explanations from OSCE MG
Baku / 28.03.19 / Turan: The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, who proposed the three principles and the six elements of the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, should comment on them themselves so that the parties can tell if they are acceptable to them or not. The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this on Thursday speaking in the Armenian parliament.
"Of course, I have very important questions about the three principles and six elements, and since two days later the negotiation process will take place, I will ask these questions on the spot and, of course, I will be happy to tell you what these questions are and what my impressions of them.
These comments are important for us, because the comments that Azerbaijan makes regarding these principles are unacceptable for us. If it turns out that this is the interpretation of these principles, I have already said that this is unacceptable for us. But it may become clear that the co-chairs will say that the interpretation of Azerbaijan is incorrect.
Until I heard the comments of the co-chairs, how can I say whether these principles are acceptable for us or not? I say: the one who proposed these principles, let him comment on them himself; I have questions in this regard. And only then, when those who proposed these principles answer these questions, not only should we say whether they are acceptable or not, but Azerbaijan should say whether they are acceptable for it or not," Radio Liberty quotes Pashinyan.
Recall that on March 29, a meeting of Pashinyan-Aliyev with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will take place in Vienna. -02D-
