Baku/03.12.20/Turan: On December 3, the head of state Ilham Aliyev issued an order on the creation of a memorial complex of the Patriotic War and a Victory Museum in Baku.
The Ministry of Culture was instructed to prepare, jointly with the Baku Mayor's Office, proposals on the location and project of the complex and to submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers within 2 two months.
The Cabinet was instructed to submit proposals on the project to the President within three months and resolve other issues arising from the order. -02D-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times. According to relatives, the police conducted a search of her apartment.
