Patrushev and Usubov discussed cooperation in the field of information security
Baku/03.11.22/Turan: On November 3, a meeting was held in Moscow between the Secretaries of the Security Councils of Azerbaijan and Russia, Ramil Usubov and Nikolai Patrushev.
The Security Council of the Russian Federation informed that the meeting was held within the framework of the annual meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CIS countries.
Patrushev and Usubov discussed "security issues in the region, as well as further measures of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of information security and countering terrorism."
“In addition, the interlocutors signed a cooperation plan through the security councils of both countries for 2023-2024, emphasizing that the implementation of this plan will serve to strengthen allied relations between Russia and Azerbaijan,” the report says.
As for the meeting of the heads of the CIS Security Councils, the challenges and threats to international security and the security of CIS members were considered there.
“The problem of destructive activity on the territory of the CIS countries of foreign non-governmental organizations and the media has been touched upon.”
In addition, measures to counter the glorification of fascism and the falsification of history in the CIS space were discussed, the report said. -02В-
