Baku/27.09.23/Turan: Today, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons held a meeting with Azerbaijanis from Khankendi.
Issues related to the preparation of their return to their hometown were discussed.
Opinions and suggestions regarding preparations for their return were listened to.
Before the beginning of the Karabakh conflict in the late 1980s, about 58 thousand people lived in Khankendi, and 15 thousand of them were Azerbaijanis. ---06B---
