Baku/30.09.21/Turan: Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters some details of the talks between the presidents of Russia and Turkey on September 29 in Sochi.
The presidents discussed in detail Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. "The need was stressed to oust terrorist elements from Idlib, which are still present there and can threaten the Syrian army," Peskov said.
The topic of the settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh was also touched upon. “The Russian side stressed that the sides should look for a compromise solution on border delimitation and on the development of transport infrastructure,” Peskov said.
The possibility of continuing cooperation on military-technical issues was also discussed. In particular, the production of some S-400 components in Turkey, Peskov told reporters.
In turn, the Turkish president on his way from Sochi to Ankara told reporters that he had drawn Putin's attention to the presence of the YPG [PKK's Syrian wing] terrorist office in Moscow. He also noted that the agreement to end the presence of PKK / YPG terrorists in a number of areas of Syria should be implemented.
