Baku / 01.02.19 / Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic of the Russian Federation, Rashid Temrezov, reports AZERTAC.
Stressing that Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral relations are successfully developing in all spheres, the head of state noted that there is mutual high-level trust between the presidents of the two countries and this plays a special role in expanding ties.
In addition, Azerbaijan closely cooperates with individual regions of the Russian Federation, including the North Caucasus region.
For his part, Temrezov stated the role of interregional cooperation in the development of Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral relations, stressed the importance of the meeting of business representatives held in Baku on February 1. He said that there is a mutual interest in economic cooperation between the Karachay-Cherkess region of Russia and Azerbaijan, and there are good opportunities for this. -0-
