Primary Compensation to Victims of Fire in Diglas Shopping Center AZN 3 Million
Baku / 29.03.19 / Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev ordered to allocate initially 3 million manat to entrepreneurs who suffered from the fire in the Diglas shopping center on March 26. Funds will be allocated from the Presidential Reserve Fund.
Meanwhile, at the meeting with the injured on Friday, Deputy Minister of Economy Niyazi Safarov said that compensation would be issued through Capital Bank, where personal accounts would be opened.
According to him, compensation will be issued in two stages: at the first stage, a certain amount will be transferred to the account, and after determining the amount of damage, the victims will receive the rest of the compensation.
In turn, Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev told reporters the fire caused damage to 171 commercial sites. He also said the leaders of a number of shopping centers are ready to provide free trading platforms to the affected entrepreneurs for 4-5 months.
Recall that the fire on March 26 caused damage amounting to tens of millions of manat (unofficial data) to the large shopping center Diglas in the Nizami district of the capital. This amount does not take into account the damage caused to the shopping center itself, but only to the burnt goods of businessmen who rented premises there. -71D-
