Protests in Yerevan against Pashinyan and Russia
Baku/19.09.23/Turan: Several thousand people on the evening of September 19 began a protest rally in the center of Yerevan in front of the government house. They are chanting anti-government slogans and demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan.
Later, several hundred people tried to break into the building through police cordons. Law enforcement forces used tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the protesters.
Several thousand more people are rallying in front of the Russian Embassy in Yerevan, demanding that Moscow protect Armenians in Karabakh. -0-
