Baku / 11.04.20 / Turan: The Public Oversight Council of the Corona Virus Support Fund was established. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
The Council consists of 7 members, including five representing the public and two - the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Ziyad Samedzadeh - full member of ANAS, chairman of the Union of Economists of Azerbaijan;
Shafiga Mammadova - Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Farhad Badalbeyli - rector of the Baku Academy of Music named after Uzeyir Hajibayli;
Geray Geraybeyli - Rector of the Azerbaijan Medical University;
Zemfira Meftahaddinova - Olympic champion, member of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Aydin Isayev - head of the sector - Deputy Head of the Tax and Income Policy Department of the Apparatus of the Finance Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
Rasim Ismayilov - Deputy Head of the Main Financial Department of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Corona Virus Foundation was created by the country's President in mid-March.
The Fund is formed at the expense of state funds and donations from legal entities and individuals. The Fund has accumulated more than 110 million manat. —06D-

Independent journalist Khanum Mustafayeva was unable to leave Azerbaijan on January 11. At the Baku airport, she was told that the ban was imposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. However, the reasons for restricting the journalist's rights were not explained to her.
