Sochi / 14.05.18 / Turan: Strategic cooperation between Armenia and Russia is not subject to discussion. There is a consensus on this issue, and no one puts or calls into question this relationship. The guests are Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the beginning of the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
He noted that he intends to give a new impetus to cooperation between the two countries in the political and economic spheres, as well as in other spheres, including in tourism.
Pashinyan highly assessed Moscow's position in connection with the internal political crisis in Armenia, stressing that this is a very "constructive" position. In his turn, Putin said that Russia regards Armenia as the closest partner and ally in the region. "This concerns both economic cooperation and security issues," he said.

Putin wished Pashinyan success in his new post. "I hope that relations will develop and forward, as it has been so far, including through international cooperation.
