Putin's representative discussed implementation of North-South transport corridor in Tehran
Baku/10.04.23/Turan: Iranian National Security Council Secretary Ali Shamkhani received Russian Presidential aide Igor Levitin in Tehran on Sunday.
"IRNA" news agency reported that the parties discussed the implementation of bilateral agreements in the banking and economic spheres and the acceleration of the implementation of the North-South transport corridor, namely the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway section.
Shamkhani emphasized the great importance of "the speedy implementation of the strategic North-South project."
In turn, Levitin noted that "Moscow is ready to invest in various sectors of the Iranian economy, including the section of the Rasht-Astara road, as well as in the steel, oil and petrochemical industries. -02D-
