Quarantined Another 276 People Returning from Iran
Baku / 05.03.20 / Turan: After the closure of borders with Iran due to the threat of corona virus, 276 citizens returned to Azerbaijan through a special corridor through the Astara checkpoint. This was reported by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Their return was ensured on the basis of appeals to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran and the consulate in Tabriz and carried out according to the established schedule.
After crossing the border, they were sent by special buses to quarantine zones.
Also, the reception of appeals to the Azerbaijani embassies in Tehran and the consulate general in Tabriz continues with the aim of transporting them to Baku by special flight.
As of February 29, 224 people were quarantined. On the same day, there were three confirmed cases of corona virus in Azerbaijan. –06D-
