Rahmon told Aliyev about the situation in Afghanistan and invited him to visit the country
Baku/12.07.21 / Turan: On Monday, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon phoned Ilham Aliyev, discussed bilateral relations and the situation in Afghanistan.
According to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan, the parties touched upon trade and economic relations with a special emphasis on the military-political situation in Afghanistan.
"Rahmon informed Aliyev about the alarming situation in the provinces of Afghanistan bordering on Tajikistan expressed his serious concern about the aggravation of the situation on the southern borders of the CIS," the report said.
At the same time, Rahmon invited Aliyev to pay an official visit to Tajikistan, the invitation was accepted. - 02D-
