Replacement of heads of Azerbaijan's diplomatic missions abroad
Baku/23.07.21/Turan: On Friday, the President Ilham Aliyev issued orders to recall and appoint the ambassadors of Azerbaijan to a number of foreign states.
Thus, Vilayat Guliyev was recalled from the post of ambassador to Hungary. He was replaced by Tahir Tagizade, who was recalled from the post of ambassador to Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland and Denmark.
Galey Allahverdiyev was recalled from his post as ambassador to Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Brunei, and Irfan Davudov was appointed to his place.
Galib Israfilov was recalled from the post of ambassador to Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia, and Rovshan Sadigbeyli was appointed to his place. He will also be the head of the Azerbaijani mission to the UN office in Vienna, the permanent representative to the OSCE, the International Nuclear Energy Agency and the Organization of the Total Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
