Russian Foreign Minister to visit Baku
Baku/15.06.22/Turan: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Baku on June 23-24. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reported on June 15.
Lavrov will hold a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov and discuss further implementation of the February 22 Treaty of Allied Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.
Issues of implementation of trilateral statements of November 10, 2020, January 11, 2021 and November 26, 2021, as well as regional issues will also be touched upon, she said.
Recall that Lavrov visited Yerevan on June 9, where they also discussed the implementation of trilateral agreements. Despite claims of progress in the negotiations, Baku and Yerevan insist that there are serious disagreements in the conclusion of a peace treaty and the beginning of the border demarcation process. -02D-
