Salary Increases Determined for Medical Personnel Involved in Fight against COVID-19
Baku / 26.03.20 / Turan: The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution: "On determining an urgent bonus to the salaries of medical workers participating in measures to combat the new type of Corona Virus infection (COVID-19)."
The document determines the coefficients of salary allowances for employees of state medical institutions for work in connection with the Corona Virus infection.
So, the premium for medical and preventive measures will be 3 times the size of the monthly official salary.
The size of the salary allowances for emergency medical personnel, as well as for laboratory personnel who study biological material, will be 4 times the salary.
Personnel providing inpatient medical services to patients will receive a 5-fold monthly salary.
The urgent allowance will be paid in proportion to the working time for the period from March 1 to June 1, 2020. —06D-

On January 15, the Tbilisi Court of Appeals rejected the appeal of Afghan Sadigov, the founder of the Azel TV website, who had protested his extradition to Azerbaijan. On January 15, the Yasamal District Court rejected the motion to change the detention measure for Azer Gasymly, the director of the Institute of Political Management, his lawyer, Agyl Laidj, to Turan. "Azer Gasymly stated during the trial that the charges against him were fabricated and related to his socio-political activities," the lawyer said. An appeal will be filed against the court's decision.
