Separatists intend to elect new "president" on September 8
Baku/05.09.23/Turan: On September 7, the factions of the "parliament" of Karabakh should nominate their candidates for the vacant post of "president" if they fail to agree on a single candidate.
According to Armenian media, the elections themselves will be held on September 8. To win, a candidate must gain 2/3 of the votes of the "deputies".
Recall that among the candidates for the post of the new leader of the separatists, several persons are named: this is the current "prime minister" Samvel Shahramanyan (a close friend of "ex-president" Bako Sahakyan; David Ishkhanyan – "speaker of parliament"; Samvel Babayan – former commander of the Karabakh forces and Moscow businessman Ruben Vardanyan. -02B-
