The 59th meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS customs services was held in Baku with the participation of representatives from Azerbaijan , Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova , Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan .
The meeting discussed the appointment of the Secretary of the Council of CIS Heads of Customs Services in 2014, implementation of the decisions adopted at the previous meeting , the draft protocol on making changes in the agreement on the re- export rules and granting permission to re-export goods.

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi.
