U.S. will help Ukraine to get rid of Russia

Presidents of the USA and Ukraine met yesterday in Warsaw, Reuters reported.  The U.S. President Barack Obama and newly elected president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, discussed a plan intended to reduce Ukraine's energy dependence on Russia. It is not reported how this will be done, not reported. The two leaders arrived in Poland to take part in the celebrations for the anniversary of free elections, as a result of which on 4 June, 1989, the  human rights movement and the trade union "Solidarity" won a resounding victory in Poland.

During the meeting of Obama and Poroshenko , which was attended by the U.S. Secretary of State and John Kerry, the parties discussed what assistance the U.S. can provide  in Ukraine in training  the uniformed services , as well as in the restoration of peace and economic growth in this country.

Obama called the election of  Poroshenko to the post of Ukrainian president "a wise decision " in the current crisis situation in this country. Commenting on the upcoming summit in Brussels, the "Group of Seven" , Barack Obama said that the summit will be an important signal of support by Poroshenko the world community.

For its part Poroshenko praised the solidarity of the Western world with Ukraine. "We see that now the whole world is on our side. Aggressor is  doomed to the isolation ," he said. Poroshenko previously had a separate meeting with John Kerry. Head of the U.S. State Department said that his country is preparing to celebrate the victory of Poroshenko at the inauguration ceremony on June 7. -02D-
