Baku / 14.03.19 / Turan: On March 14, the VII Global Forum opened in Baku with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, who delivered a speech.
The Forum, which this year is being held under the motto "New foreign policy of peace", is attended by 450 representatives from 70 countries. Among the guests are the presidents of Afghanistan and Moldova.
The event will include panels on threats to development, cooperation in the Middle East, the role of science and culture in decision-making.
The Baku Forum is attended annually by representatives of many countries, including former heads of state and government, heads of international organizations, and scientists.-02D-

Independent journalist Khanum Mustafayeva was unable to leave Azerbaijan on January 11. At the Baku airport, she was told that the ban was imposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. However, the reasons for restricting the journalist's rights were not explained to her.
