Shahin Mustafayev received Iranian Ambassador
Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev received Iranian Ambassador to Baku Seyid Abbas Mousavi today.
According to the message of the Iranian Embassy, during the conversation, issues on the agenda of bilateral relations were discussed in line with provisions of talks held on November 9 in Tashkent by the leaders of the two countries - Ilham Aliyev and Seyid Ibrahim Raisi.
Besides, issues of cooperation between the two countries, joint energy and transport projects were discussed in general.
Note that Mustafayev also heads the bilateral commission on economic cooperation.
Recall that Aliyev and Raisi met on November 9 in Tashkent within the framework of the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
They discussed issues related to the construction of railway and automobile bridges across the Araz River in the direction of the village of Agband and the laying of a transport corridor through the territory of Iran to Nakhchivan.
The sides also exchanged views on raising the capacity of the railway infrastructure on the territory of Azerbaijan along the North-South transport corridor.
Add that the issues of cooperation in the field of energy were discussed, the importance of the regional format "3+3" was noted and aspects of interaction within international organizations were touched upon.
