Skirmishes continue in Nakhchivan and around Shusha
Baku/16.08.21/Turan: At 9:30 on Monday, Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces near the village of Heydarabad, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The fire was conducted from small arms. No losses are reported, the press service of the Ministry of Defense said on the morning of August 16.
According to the same source, on Sunday evening, the Armenian side fired at Azerbaijani positions towards the settlement of Yukhary Ayrim, the Kalbajar region.
In addition, in Karabakh, the Armenians resumed shelling the city of Shusha from the villages of Mukhtarkend and Gabala which are in the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers. Returned fire was opened, there were no losses. - 02D-

On November 15, animal rights activist Kamran Mammadli was detained while staging a protest at the COP29 climate conference. Mammadli was protesting the shooting of street dogs in Azerbaijan. He raised a sign above his head that read: "Azerbaijani authorities are shooting dogs on the streets!"
