Slovakia is interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan - Ivan Korchok
Baku/17.03.21/Turan: On March 17 by the President of Azerbaijan receoved Ivan Korchok, Slovak Foreign Minister, who is on an official visit to Baku, and held talks with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister.
At a joint briefing after the meeting at the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Korchok said that during the talks, issues of further development and deepening of bilateral relations were discussed.
He expressed support for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and expressed hope that after the end of the war, both communities will find a way to live together and peacefully.
Referring to economic cooperation, Korchok noted the capabilities of his country in the automotive industry and the implementation of projects to create "Smart Cities". “We are ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in this area,” Korchok said.
He called the signing of a partnership agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan important and Slovakia is ready to assist in this.
In turn, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that the political dialogue between the two countries is at a high level and called for strengthening economic cooperation in the field of energy, culture and science.-03В-

The detention took place near the Vadi İstanbul shopping center in the Sarıyer district, where a taxi was stopped. During the search, 70 kg of gold was found. The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
