Social Democrats of the European Parliament call to exclude Azerbaijan and Belarus from the Eastern Partnership
Baku / 14.08.20 / Turan: The Social Democratic Group of the European Parliament called for the exclusion of Belarus and Azerbaijan from the Eastern Partnership program of the European Union.
“Our group calls for a revision of the composition of the Eastern Partnership program. We cannot cooperate with countries where repressions against political opposition and civil society are carried out. Dictators and enemies of free societies - Azerbaijan and Belarus should be immediately excluded from the Eastern Partnership, said the group's vice-president Katie Peary.
