Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament to pay visit to Turkey
Baku/07.12.21/Turan: The Parliamentary delegation led by Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova will pay a working visit to Turkey on December 8-11.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in the 16th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC),
the Milli Majlis Public and Press Relations Department reported.
It is planned to hold meetings between the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament and heads of delegations attending the event. -06B-

On February 3, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan annulled the results of the municipal elections held on January 29 at six polling stations. In particular, the voting results were declared invalid due to violations identified at polling stations NN: 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 in the 81st Imishli constituency.

The opposition party “Musavat” has demanded the release of all political prisoners and stated that the authorities are responsible for their health conditions, it was announced at a meeting of the party's Executive Board (Divan) on Monday. “Musavat” expressed concern over reports of health problems among many political prisoners, including civil society activists Anar Mamedli and Alekser Mamedli.

The consideration of the lawsuit filed by Hafiz Babaly, the editor of the economics department at Turan news agency, against the online publication Qafqazinfo.az, is being unjustifiably delayed. Babaly had been arrested in connection with the Abzas Media case.
