Statement on the encirclement of the Azerbaijani military is disinformation - Ministry of Defense
Baku/16.09.22/Turan: "The statement of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces about the encirclement of some groups of the Azerbaijani military is an absolute lie and another misinformation," the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
“The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fully control the operational situation. The strategic initiative and advantage are on the side of Azerbaijan,” the press release says. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry called on Armenia not to spread false messages, but to strengthen the ceasefire reached.
It should be noted that today the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces said that a group of Azerbaijani military men were surrounded during the recent clashes on the border. --06B--

The detention took place near the Vadi İstanbul shopping center in the Sarıyer district, where a taxi was stopped. During the search, 70 kg of gold was found. The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
