Sumqayit sent 50 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine
Baku/05.07.22/Turan: On July 5, residents of the city of Sumgayit sent 50 tons of humanitarian aid for residents of the Ukrainian city of Cherkassy.
The humanitarian aid includes food (including baby food), household and medical materials (including medicines), as well as clothes, according to a statement from the Sumgayit Executive Authority.
The humanitarian cargo will be delivered to the airport in Warsaw and from there to Ukraine.
The aid was prepared at the request of the Cherkassy regional administration. Cherkassy is a twin city of Sumgait. -02D-
