Tactical exercises of the Combined Arms Army continue
Baku/11.07.20/Turan: The battalion and division live-fire tactical exercises continue in the Combined Arms Army. Along with motorized rifle and tank divisions, tactical exercises also involve logistic support units. The units involved in the exercises have been put on alert and taken to the exercise areas. The battalion and division live-fire tactical exercises focused on improving the field skills of the military personnel of the units, preparing and conducting modern combined arms operation, and organizing the interoperability with units of other types of troops participating in the exercises.
In the course of the live-fire exercises, targets were destroyed using all types of weapons, as well as tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
During the exercises, combat coordination of units is carried out in conditions as close as possible to combat. The delivery of resources to the logistics points of battalions and divisions was carried out by units of formations and military units for logistics in order to organize the logistical support of military personnel involved in the exercises.
The location of the exercises and the number of equipment and personnel involved are not reported. However, it is known that the Separate Combined Arms Army is deployed in Nakhchivan. -02D-

On Monday, the Baku Appeals Court considered the appeal of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov against the extension of his detention for another four months. The defense argued that the decision to extend Abilov's detention was unjustified, lawyer Fariz Namazly told reporters.
