Talks on Nagorno-Karabakh to be held in Geneva and Moscow - French foreign Ministry
Baku / 07.10.20 / Turan: French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian announced that negotiations on the resolution of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh would be held on October 8 in Geneva and on October 12 in Moscow. His words are quoted by Reuters.
The meeting will be hosted by representatives of Russia, France and the United States. They plan to initiate a dialogue between the warring parties. The Armenian Foreign Ministry has already openly stated that they are not considering the possibility of a meeting between the heads of the foreign ministries of Baku and Yerevan.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev believes that Russia and Turkey can be mediators in the settlement of the conflict. Both countries are members of the OSCE Minsk Group, but Yerevan disputes Ankara's membership in it. Le Drian separately noted the fact of "military involvement" of Turkish forces in hostilities.
Previously the President of France Emmanuel Macron spoke about this. - 0--
