Baku / 07.10.20 / Turan: On October 7, after a long illness, the deputy chair of the Popular Front Party Gezal Bayramli died.
As the PFPA told Turan, the cause of death is oncology.
Former political prisoner Gezal Bayramli was prosecuted by the authorities and convicted in 2017 on trumped-up smuggling charges. Gravely ill, she spent two years in prison, where her condition deteriorated further. In 2019, she was pardoned.
Turan agency expresses deep condolences to the relatives of the deceased and the PFPA members.
