Abulfaz Imamaliyev, a member of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, and Jamil Hajiyev, a public activist, who were detained before the Baku Court for Serious Crimes, were released after being fined. They were detained on June 21 in front of the courthouse when the trial of opposition politician Tofig Yagublu was underway. Activists protested against the obstacles of the security forces to enter the trial.
On the evening of June 21, they were released after an administrative offense report was drawn up against them at the police station. Imamaliyev was fined 50 manats, Hajiyev - 100 manats.
