Baku/01.04.23/Turan: Under the chairmanship of Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, an official meeting of the army command staff was held on April 1. The meeting was attended by deputy ministers, commanders of troops, heads of main departments, departments and services of the ministry, commanders of military associations and formations were connected via video link, the press service of the military department reports.
The Minister stressed that "the local operations carried out in the shortest possible time are another evidence of the high combat determination of the Azerbaijani army."
"Having analyzed the operational situation on the conditional Azerbaijani-Armenian state border and in the Karabakh economic region, the Defense Minister gave appropriate instructions on resolute suppression of possible provocations. The Defense Minister noted that all illegal actions of the enemy, including illegal Armenian armed formations, should be under constant control in order to continue to prevent such actions on the territory of Azerbaijan," the Defense Ministry further said in a press release.
In conclusion, Hasanov gave specific instructions "on better implementation of engineering support measures in the liberated territories, as well as at the heights and positions taken under control." ---06B---
