Baku/19.09.23/Turan: The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has issued a plea for Armenian armed formations in the Karabakh region to disarm and surrender, offering a cessation of military operations as an incentive.
In an official statement released on the evening of September 19, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reiterated its call to the Armenian armed forces stationed in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, urging them to relinquish their arms and surrender. The statement further detailed that in the event of compliance with this request, the ongoing anti-terrorist measures would be suspended.
The Azerbaijani military department also emphasized their ongoing coordination with the Russian peacekeeping contingent temporarily stationed within Azerbaijani territory, asserting their commitment to facilitating the peacekeepers in carrying out their duties effectively.-06B--
