The court did not satisfy the complaint by Vagifgizi against the prohibition of meetings and telephone conversations with relatives
Baku/08.12.23/Turan: On December 6, the Khatai District Court held a trial on a complaint against the ban of Sevinj Vagifgizi, the arrested editor-in-chief of the online publication “Abzas Media,” on meetings and telephone conversations with her loved ones, a lawyer Elchin Sadigov told Turan.
According to him, Judge Bakhtiyar Mammadov, without notifying either the lawyer, the investigator, or Vagifgizi herself, reviewed the case.
"The court did not satisfy the complaint and upheld the ban. I learned about the decision after the fact," the lawyer said. An appeal will be filed against the court's decision.
