The identity of one of the border violators has been established
Baku/16.05.21/Turan: Three violators of the Azerbaijani-Iranian border have been identified, who killed two border guards on May 15 in the area of the border outpost near the village of Gendara, Yardimli district.
The Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office reported on May 16 that this is a citizen of Iran, Bargi Hasanali.
The military Prosecutor's Office opened criminal cases against Barga Hasanali under articles of the Criminal Code 120.2.1 (premeditated murder), 206.3.2(Drug smuggling), 234.4.3 (fraud for the purpose of selling drugs on a large scale), violation of the state border.
According to the report, the Iranian citizen was detained as a suspect and involved in the investigation.
Investigative measures are currently in progress to bring other persons to criminal responsibility.
It should be recalled that on May 15, senior lieutenant Samir Eyvazov and junior lieutenant Farid Alimov died on the territory of the mentioned outpost as a result of the use of weapons by trespassers. -0-
