The ITV (Public Broadcasting Company of Azerbaijan) was allocated funds for broadcasting the 33rd Olympic Games
Baku/24.05.22/Turan: Head of State Ilham Aliyev issued an order to allocate funds to the Public Broadcasting Company of Azerbaijan to obtain the right to broadcast the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris. For these purposes, 640 thousand US dollars were allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of ITV.
Elections for the post of head of the ITV were held today. As a result, Qasimov Balakishi Alekper oglu was re-elected General Director of ITV. All nine members of the Broadcasting Council voted for him. -02D-

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published a set of proposals on his Facebook page aimed at establishing long-term peace in the region. Among them, he suggested that Azerbaijan should abandon mutual claims against Armenia, including in international courts. Other proposals include: refraining from using belligerent rhetoric, continuing the demarcation of borders, signing a peace agreement that is 90% ready, mutually implementing arms control, creating a joint mechanism to investigate violations of the ceasefire regime, and dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group.
