The Law "On Political Parties" was adopted in 1992. Since that time, it was changed 58 times. As for the Article 8 of the law, it prohibits the chairmen of courts, their deputies, judges, ombudsman, servicemen, prosecutors, justice, internal affairs, state security, foreign intelligence, border services, financial, customs, tax service, courier services, migration agencies to be members of political parties , an emergency situation, the state press.
