The Liberal Party denies the information on the appeal to Putin
Liberal Party denied information in some media that its chairman, Avaz Temirkhan, sent an appeal to the President of Russia on behalf of the National Council to expedite the decision on Rustam Ibrahimbayov’s rejection the Russian citizenship.
"Some media have gone even further, arguing that Temirkhan forwarded them the appropriate appeal," reads the statement.
"The Liberal Party said that such appeal does not exist at all, and the Chairman of Avaz Temirkhan had never sent such appeal to anyone.
We regard it as a dirty provocation against the Liberal Party and against the National Council, and demand a refutation of the in the media who published this information, " reads the statement.
