In Urumqi, Meeting Held on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Uighur Authority
In the city of Urumqi on July 10, the second meeting was held by the Working Group on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.
Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov, Uighur strontium - Deputy Chairman of the People's Government of autonomy Shi Dagang.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development, Safarov said that in 2012 the trade turnover between the two countries increased 22%. In Azerbaijan there are about 70 companies with Chinese capital (banking, insurance, trade, services, communications, construction, etc.).
During the meeting, the working group discussed issues across the spectrum of cooperation, including tourism, cultural exchange, industry, energy, trade, transportation and agriculture. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
