The military prosecutor reports on the decrease in the crime rate in the army in the past year
Baku/21.01.21/Turan: In 2020, the crime rate in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan decreased, the military prosecutor of the country Khanlar Veliyev said during a board meeting in the Military Prosecutor's Office.
According to him, 99.5% of the crimes committed have been solved. At the same time, compared to 2019, the number of recorded crimes decreased by 36.1%, and non-military crimes by 18.6%.
In particular, the number of premeditated murders decreased by 30%; abuse of power - by 71.7%; extortion with the use of weapons - 53.8%; crimes with extra-statutory relationships - by 69.5%; hooliganism - by 83.3%. -02D-
