Baku/08.05.21/Turan: On Victory Day on May 9, various events will be held in the military units of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, and Russian peacekeepers will hold a solemn review in Khankendi, the statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
A group of military personnel serving in the Joint Turkish-Russian Monitoring Center will lay a wreath at the monument to the participants and victims of the Second World War in the Beylagan region.
A solemn formation of the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation, temporarily located on the territory of Azerbaijan, will be held in accordance with the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020 in Khankendi, the message says.
Earlier, the Armenian media reported on the demand of the peacekeepers to remove the monument to the fascist accomplice Garegin Nzhdeh before May 9. So far, this information has not been confirmed. Moreover, the Armenians of Martuni, where the monument stands, stated that they would not dismantle the monument.-02В-
