The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs want to persuade Baku to resume negotiations on Karabakh settlement
Baku/23.09.21/Turan: Does the format of the OSCE Minsk Group continue to be relevant ? Asked by the TASS news agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko answered this question as follows:
"I'd not say that the OSCE Minsk Group is idle. Maybe not so public, contacts are ongoing. And our co-chair of the Minsk Group visited Baku and Yerevan, held a number of meetings there, including at the highest level.
Currently, the three Co-chairs are planning to hold meetings in New York within the framework of the UN General Assembly: meetings with each other, and with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. If so, it would be a good sign that the normalization process between the two countries has acquired practical outlines. We keep on considering the Minsk Group as an important tool for advancing on the path of peace process." -02D-
