Those who accuse us of separatism are not ready for democratic values

The "Conference of the Parties (COP29)" will be held in Baku from November 11 to 22. COP "Conference of the Parties", that is, the Conference of the Parties, and the number 29 in the name indicates that the event is the 29th in a row. The previous COP28 event took place last year in Dubai (UAE). This event had about 100 thousand participants.

On May 25, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a pardon decree. The order affected 154 prisoners.  According to the Decree signed by the President "On pardoning a number of convicts", 63 people sentenced to imprisonment were released from the unserved part of the sentence; 52 convicts had their sentence reduced by half; 1 person sentenced to imprisonment, whose sentence was suspended, was released from punishment; 28 people sentenced to restriction of liberty, were released from the unserved part of the punishment; 3 persons had their sentence reduced by half; 2 persons sentenced to correctional labor were released from the unserved part of the punishment; 4 people sentenced to fines were released from penalties; the criminal record of 1 convicted person sentenced to imprisonment and who served his sentence was removed.

By October 1, 2023, 100,514 Armenians who moved to Armenia from Karabakh had left Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan builds houses for returning former residents of the region, but these works are mainly conducted in places where Azerbaijanis live, until 1992.
