The number of new infections COVID-19 declines
Baku/22.09.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 1,356 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected, 2,651 patients recovered, 17 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 22.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 476,409 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified, including 441,731 people recovered, 6,370 have died.
Treatment of 28,308 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 13,546 tests have been carried out in the country.
Also, over the past day from COVID-19, 63,462 people were vaccinated.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 15 542, the second - 47 920 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 8,106,885.
As part of the first stage of vaccination, 4 662 121 were vaccinated, the second stage - 3 454 764 people. — 06D-

Complaints about a foul gas-like odor persist in the Əhmədli, Günəşli, NZS settlements, and some other areas of Baku. Residents report that the issue has been ongoing for several days.
