The put pressure on Azerbaijan demanding to give Karabakh the independence, Aliyev
President Ilham Aliyev said that the fighting in April in Karabakh, have become "a great military victory of Azerbaijan". Azerbaijani Armed Forces freed more than 2 million hectares of territory of Agdere, Fuzuli and Jabrayil regions, and even more territory came under the control of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev said at a Cabinet meeting on Friday.
But Armenians do not want peace, and they have big backers. Some give money, others weapons, and some moral support - this is the reason that the problem is not solved, he said.
"You have probably heard the recent statements from America. This is surprising. It is not fair to blame us of unresolved problems, and that both sides are to blame," protested Aliyev.
"We reject such statements, and at a high level, they must be corrected, otherwise the mediatory mission will be questioned," said Aliyev, and then made a sensational confession.
"Behind the closed doors pressure is put on us, that we have agreed to the recognition of independence of Nagorno Karabakh," he said.
Aliyev believes that all the criticism in the Western media and by international organizations comes from the fact that Azerbaijan refuses to give the independence to Karabakh. "It never will happen," said Aliyev. -02D-
