In the evening on November 22 Bridget Brink , the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, met with the Azerbaijani opposition leaders in the US embassy. The meeting was attended by the leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli, chairman of the National Council Jamil Hasanli, leader of the party "Musavat" Arif Hajili and executive secretary of the movement REAL Natig Jafarli.
According to Kerimli, the socio-political situation in Azerbaijan, bilateral relations, situation in the region was discussed during the meeting.
The American diplomat said that during the top meetings with Azerbaijani officials she raised the issue of the convicted leader of the REAL Ilgar Mamedov, Jafarli said.-C06--
