The restoration of Hadrut begins - I. Aliyev
Baku/10.10.21/Turan: On October 9, the head of state, Ilham Aliyev, visited the village of Hadrut in Karabakh, a year after its liberation, where he made a number of statements.
Touching upon the significance of the liberation of this territory, he noted that the successful completion of the operation in Hadrut made it possible to achieve the main goal - the liberation of Karabakh.
The battles around Hadrut were fierce and lasted for several days. “The Armenians did not expect that after Jebrail we would go to Hadrut, they thought that we would attack Fizuli,” Aliyev said.
According to the administrative-territorial division of Azerbaijan, the village of Hadrut is an integral part of the Khojavend region. At one time, the Hadrut and Martuni regions of the former Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region were united into the Khojavend region. Thus, he made it clear that Hadrut would not be returned to the Armenians.
Aliyev said that the start of work on the restoration of Gadrut, new roads are being built to Jebrail and Fizuli. A substation and a mosque are under construction.
“We intend to turn Hadrut into a center of international culture and tourism. The nature is very rich here, mountains, forests, rivers are everywhere, this is a paradise, ”Aliyev said. -02D-
