1,032 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/10.10.21/Turan: Over the past day, 1,032 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 1,043 people have recovered, 10 infected have died, the Operational Headquarters at
Cabinet of Ministers.
In total, 492,179 cases of coronavirus infection were identified in the country, including 473,023 recovered, 6,664 died, treatment of 12,492 active patients continues.
Over the last 24 hours, 8,385 tests have been carried out.
Also, over the past day, 33,833 vaccines against coronavirus have been introduced in Azerbaijan.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 11 726 people, with the second - 22 107 people.
The total number of vaccinated is 8 996 778, of which the first dose is 4 889 178, the second - 4 107 600.-06D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
