Today Sabunchu District Court of Baku, chaired by Suleyman Agayev completed a new trial in the case of theologian Thale Bagirzade.
The court found him guilty under Article 317-1 (storage of prohibited items in the establishment of the penitentiary,) and sentenced him to four months' imprisonment.
In particular, mobile phone was removed from his camera. Bagirzade was arrested on March 31, and was sentenced to two years in prison on charges of drug possession. -16D-

The Baku Serious Crimes Court has stopped allowing journalists to attend trials.
