Three activists of the "Musavat" are arrested in Agjabedi (UPDATED)
Agjabadi court sentenced three activists of "Musavat" party, Bakhtiyar Turksoy, Rufat and Javid Hajibeyli to seven days of administrative arrest .-0-

The Agjabedi court intends to make administrative punishment against detainees during the attempted Jan. 26 protest - activists of the local branch of the party Musavat Javid Hajibayli, Rufat Hajibeyli and Bakhtiyar Mursalzade. Administrative penalty is to be applied under Article 310.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences (CAO) (disobeying lawful request of a police officer or soldier). The action took place under the slogan "Stop raising prices!".
A policeman in Agjabedi told Turan about the transfer of the case to the court. The police said yesterday that a group of people tried to hold a rally without the due sanction of the district executive. For this attempt the action was prevented and the perpetrators were arrested.
According to the chairman of the Agjabedi office of Musavat, Rashid Najafli, the executive was warned about the action with a letter. Furthermore, the chief executive sanctioned the rally at the stadium Shafa.
The detained activists will be punished by a fine or arrest for 15 days. -03B04-
